Graces & Voices is a female vocal ensemble. It was founded in 2011 by two conductors Adrija Čepaitė and Antanina Kalechyts. The title “Graces & Voices” expresses a harmony between internal and external beauty made evident in feminine singing. This ideal is correspondingly reflected in the repertoire of the ensemble, which masters both Gregorian chant and Contemporary sacred music on equal high professional level.
Graces & Voices profile is distinctively international. Members of the ensemble are ladies from Austria, Belorussia, Lithuania, and Singapore. All of them are musicians proficient in different fields: Gregorian chant, symphony and choral conducting, Church music, organ, piano, recorder, violin, and vocal music. This variety beautifully converges into enchanting sound and outstanding musicality, already well noticed amongst the audience.
Graces & Voices has already performed in many European countries, such as Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Norway, Slovakia, and Switzerland.
The ensemble has issued two CD’s: “Mysterium Crucis” (2012, Rondeau Productions), “Lumen ad revelationem gentium” (2014, EOS Verlag). „Pizzicato“ magazine, a member of the Jury of the International Classical Music Awards, honored the ensemble’s first CD „Mysterium Crucis“ (Rondeau Production) with “Supersonic Award” for its exceptional value.
