Aliona Kalechyts-Piatrouskaya

Aliona started playing violin when she was six years old. She studied violin at Music College and the Academy of Music in Minsk (Belarus). Aliona continued her studies in concert violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (Austria). At present, she is about to finish the Master degree in Baroque violin. Aliona took part in many international festivals as both soloist and member of various chamber groups and orchestras; currently, is a member of some orchestras and ensembles playing original instruments such as "Contrasto Armonico" (Netherlands), "Il Giardino D'Amore" (Poland), Orchester 1756 (Austria), Orchester Wiener Akademie (Austria), Trio Licentia Poetica (Austria), as well as substitute in Opera Graz etc.
